Welcome to CentralPAFlyFishing.com!

Central Pennsylvania is a premiere Fly Fishing destination that attracts anglers from around the world.  Limestone streams such as the Little Juniata, Fishing Creek, Penn’s Creek and Spring Creek boast some of the best Mayfly hatches in the world.  March Browns, Blue Winged Olives, the famous Green Drake and my personal favorite Sulphurs are plentiful and lets not forget to mention the spectacular Caddis hatches.  At just about any location on these Eastern Fly fishing streams you can cast to twenty different Wild Brown Trout.

If you prefer fishing Freestones then a scenic drive through North Central PA should be at the top of your list.  Home to some of the most beautiful streams in the Eastern United States, this region offers something for everyone.

You can fish the big productive waters of Pine Creek with Brown Drakes one day and the next day escape into the back country to fly fish for Native Brook Trout on Hammersly Fork or one of the many other tributaries of Kettle Creek.  Slate and Cedar Runs as well as First Fork are also a must for anyone visiting the area.

Central Pennsylvania is truly a spectacular place for Fly fishing and whether it’s for a week or a couple of long weekends it should be on every fly fisherman’s to do list. Use Central PA Fly Fishing to help plan your next fly fishing trip. We have detailed maps for each stream and we are working hard to provide you with a list of lodging options and places to eat that are close to the water.
